NorthKey Community Care is seeking a Licensed Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team on a part-time contract basis (1099).  This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who values flexibility and enjoys providing high-quality, evidence-based nutrition services. Enjoy the freedom to create a schedule that works for you. Contractors may choose the days and hours they work Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm (2 to 3 days a week). A hybrid work option may be available based on business needs. In-Person services will be provided at our Covington and/or Florence locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree with a major in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
  • Relevant experience, expertise, and knowledge.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

JOB DUTIES

  • This is a new position with NorthKey. We are looking for someone ready to hit the ground running and help with developing this program.
  • Conduct routine screening and monitoring of clients' health status to improve the health and physical condition of clients.
  • Provide clinical nutrition assessment, follow-up, and nutrition counseling.
  • Assist client and treatment team in the development of service plans based upon assessment data to include goals and interventions related to nutrition.
  • Provide consultation to behavioral health and medical staff.
  • Assist clients with the development of nutritional interventions, which may include meal planning and tracking of dietary intake.
  • Complete quality documentation of services provided, including service plans, progress notes, medication informed consent, treatment plan reviews, and other required information to assure compliance with organizational policies and third-party compliance standards.
  • Ensure patients are seen routinely.
  • Adhere to appropriate standards of care.
  • Assist the treatment team in monitoring individuals for changes or decline in mental status or medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to promote quality patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team communications.
  • Perform histories and screenings, risk factor assessments per policies and/or as indicated.
  • Ensure appropriate communication with other internal and external professionals for effective delivery of quality patient care.
  • Adhere responsibly to all NorthKey policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to confidentiality in all matters pertaining to client information.
  • Maximize efficiency and effective use of time in maintaining accurate and punctual time reporting.
  • Attend internal meetings relating to responsibilities and duties.
  • Maintain a professional and business-like manner in dealing with all internal staff, Board members, state and governmental staff, sub-contractors, and vendors of NorthKey
