IDD Psychologist
NorthKey Community Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist specialized in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health assessments, therapy, and support tailored to individuals with IDD, including those with autism, behavioral health needs, and co-occurring conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, in various settings such as inpatient, outpatient, school-based programs, or telehealth. Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm.

- Salary: Independently licensed: $75,000 plus incentives.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctoral degree in field of study eligible for licensure as a psychologist.
- Independently licensed.
- Preferred, eligible to provide supervision to other licensed professionals in similar field of study.
JOB DUTIES
- Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues, and appropriately diagnose disorders using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.
- Interact with clients to assist them in gaining an understanding of their emotional, cognitive, and behavioral status.
- Prepare professional reports that present relevant findings that may be used in a variety of circumstances, including individual use, forensic matters, and/or court proceedings.
- If qualified, conduct clinical supervision of less credentialed professions in related fields of study.
- Provide educational training to other professionals as needed to meet professional development goals and professional standards.
- Provide consultation to other clinicians and administrative personnel as indicated and requested.
- Provide ongoing therapeutic services to individuals with a diagnosed I/DD and a secondary MH diagnosis.
- Provide services and conduct self in a manner consistent with the professional Code of Conduct of NorthKey Community Care.
- Assess clients and/or provide therapy, counseling, intervention, and/or education to clients in a professional manner as described in client treatment plan to achieve identified goals.
- Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessment and treatment plans, including office-based and/or home-based treatment as indicated.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation regarding assessment and therapy.
- Meet all documentation requirements as defined by NorthKey policies.
- Ensure continuous reimbursable sessions for assigned clients.
- Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth, especially to maintain license, certification, or identified program performance skills.
- Perform assessments of new clients in a timely manner and complete updated assessments at least annually or upon change in clients condition.
- Provide individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Utilize most appropriate evidence-based practice(s) to address clients' needs.
- Develop treatment plans for clients based upon clients own words regarding areas of needs, their diagnoses and symptoms, utilizing discipline-informed theories and interventions.
- Participate in planned supervision and case consultation conferences as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
- Adhere responsibly to all NorthKey policies and procedures.
- Adhere to confidentiality in all matters pertaining to client information.
- Maximize efficiency and effective use of time in maintaining accurate and punctual time reporting.
- Attend internal meetings relating to responsibilities and duties.
- Maintain a professional and business-like manner in dealing with all internal staff, Board members, state and governmental staff, sub-contractors and vendors of NorthKey.
- Represent NorthKey in a professionally appropriate manner.
