Mental Health Program Evaluator, Health Informatics and Reporting
NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Mental Health Program Evaluator to develop and implement data collection and reporting methods to monitor compliance with behavioral health requirements of its various programs and services to ensure fulfillment of all criteria and service objectives. The position will be based in NorthKey's Covington, Kentucky office.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in public health, Health Informatics, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health analytics, program evaluation, or quality improvement.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and ability to interpret dashboards and reports.
- Ability to perform data analysis and reporting using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel, including validating outputs and creating reports; while day-to-day work may focus on interpretation and oversight, candidates must be prepared to execute hands-on analysis when needed.
- Understanding of healthcare quality measures, including CCBHC, CMS, and HEDIS measures.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within established frameworks.
JOB DUTIES
- Design, oversee, and refine program evaluation strategies aligned with CCBHC and CMHC requirements.
- Monitor, analyze, and report outcome measures for CCBHC grants and other funded initiatives, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and supporting performance improvement.
- Ensure analytics processes—whether developed internally or through external partners—are accurate, compliant, and aligned with agency goals. Maintain responsibility for data integrity, interpretation, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with external analytics vendors and internal/external report writers, serving as NorthKey’s point of contact with the State for CCBHC demonstration reporting. Ensure dashboards, visualizations, and reports meet agency needs, regulatory standards, grant requirements, and data integrity expectations.
- Validate data integrity and accuracy of external and internal reports; troubleshoot discrepancies and pursue corrective actions.
- Interpret and communicate insights from dashboards and reports to leadership and program teams, translating findings into actionable recommendations to improve clinical, operational, and quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen data literacy and support a culture of continuous improvement, including assisting with staff training needs.
- Prepare and present reports and findings for audits, oversight boards, SAMHSA grant reporting, and other entities.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with standards of care defined by SAMSHA, the Kentucky Department of Medicaid, Office of the Inspector General, Department of Behavioral Health, and other federal and state entities related to organizational designation as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center.
- Achieve, promote, and maintain a strong working relationship with clinical managers and/or program team leaders and related clinical staff.
- Provide current and up-to-date information to the Chief Impact & Quality Officer.
- Lead and/or participate in both internal or external workgroups and committees.
- Ensure documentation and reporting processes accurately reflect quality care standards and meet regulatory requirements.
