NorthKey Community Care is seeking a START Mental Health Counselor & Therapist (Sobriety Treatment and Recovery Team) for its outpatient behavioral health office located in Covington, KY. The candidate MUST have a minimum of or be eligible for a non-independently licensed in KY.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in a clinical field of study related to behavioral health.
• Eligibility for a Kentucky independent or non-independent license is required.
• Must have or be eligible for one of the following Kentucky licenses: LCSW, CSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, MFT, LPAT, LPATA, LCADC, LCADCA, PhD, or PsyD.
• Experience in behavioral health is a plus, but not required
• May 2024 graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Funding is in whole or in part from federal, CHFS, or other state funds

Job Duties

• Perform behavioral health assessments and develop comprehensive service plans for clients in collaboration with DCBS case workers and family mentors.
• Provide timely evaluation reports and/or treatment recommendations.
• Assist as needed with client intake processes for intensive outpatient treatment programming.
• Assist as needed with client treatment services.
• Be available for intakes and emergency client visits and provide clinical coverage as needed.
• Maintain communication and positive working relationships with program constituents.
• Maintain communication and positive working relationships with substance use treatment providers regarding their eligibility criteria, program structure, payment/coverage expectations, etc.
• Prepare reports and other documentation as required by the Team Leader, Chief of Services, Center, Funders, etc.
• Assist in the identification of needed resources and development of resources and advocate for these services when appropriate.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervisions, training, conferences, and in-service training as expected.
