NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Mental Health Access Specialist for the Northern Kentucky behavioral health outpatient office in Florence, KY This position requires a bachelor's degree or above in a behavioral health field of study AND current enrollment or future planned enrollment in a Master's degree program in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other closely related clinical field. The hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm (with flexibility for college classes).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a behavioral health field of study from an accredited institution.
  • Currently enrolled OR planned enrollment in the near future in a Master's degree program in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other closely related clinical field.
  • Experience in behavioral health is a plus, but not required.

Job Duties

  • Provide clinical services for intake, screening, level of care assessment, and coordination with referrals to appropriate services to behavioral health clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, risk assessments, and psychosocial histories of incoming clients.
  • Collaborate with treatment team, including therapists/counselors, case managers, and prescribers, and participate in clients' ongoing assessment, diagnosis, and collateral treatment.
  • Provide clinically appropriate treatment and utilize the most appropriate evidence-based practice(s) based on clients' needs.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record.
  • Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth.
  • Participate in supervision and case consultation conferences as necessary.
